Mental Capacity Bill

Asked if the Prime Minister would agree with the suggestion that the living wills proposal, as outlined in the Mental Capacity Bill, was a green light for euthanasia, the PMS said that Lord Filkin had been talking about the Bill in a round of interviews this morning and had underlined that that was not the case. It was important for people to examine the actual content of the Bill for themselves, rather than rely on reports of it.
