Asked what was on the agenda for the Prime Minister s meeting with pharmaceutical representatives, the Prime Minister s Spokesman (PMS) said that this was a meeting that had been in the diary for some time. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss how the Government and the pharmaceutical industry could best work together regarding the best long-term interests of the pharmaceutical industry in Britain.
