In response to questions about those who had been put forward for honours, following the reshuffle, the PMS said it was decided to recommend certain people who had an outstanding record of political and public service.

Judge’s comments on burglary
Put that the new Justice Secretary had been asked to look at sentencing for burglars following comments that burglars were brave , the PMS said the Office for Judicial Complaints handled any complaints about judges’ conduct. The OJC was investigating comments made by the judge in this case.
