Chilcott Inquiry
« Iraqi detainees | Back to most recent briefing | Copenhagen »
Asked about the Chilcott Inquiry into Iraq, the PMS said that the Prime Minister had not been called to give evidence but if he was asked to appear then of course he would. The Prime Minister completely supports this independent inquiry; it is right that it is taking place and he looks forward to seeing the finished report. The PMS said that he would not be able to provide a running commentary on the Inquiry but he would update media as appropriate.
