Asked if the Prime Minister believed that the inauguration of President Karzai washed away all the past problems, the PMS said that we felt President Karzai had listened carefully to what the Prime Minsiter and other world leaders had said. We welcomed the inauguration and the fact that Cabinet members would be appointed in light of their competence. We wanted the Afghan community and government to come together to agree on priorities.
