Asked about whether the Prime Minister in his speech tonight at the Lord Mayor’s Banquet would discuss the Quilliam Foundation report on extremism in prison, the Prime Minister’s Spokesman (PMS) replied that the speech would focus on the challenges of Afghanistan: the continuing threat of Al Qaeda and the success that we have had in setting out the Prime Minister’s wider approach to foreign policy.
Asked whether the Prime Minister was concerned about the report, the PMS said he would obviously take this kind of report seriously.
