Air Passenger Duty

Put that the increase in air passenger duty had come into force this week and would the Prime Minister be carrying out a review of that, the Prime Minister’s Spokesman (PMS) told the assembled press that the Prime Minister would not be carrying out a review. He was of course concerned about any impact it might have on customers but this was something that had been carefully thought about and the new policy needed to be implemented.
