Lloyds

Asked for the Prime Minister s thoughts on the fact that the Lloyds Banking Group, a state-owned bank, had made more redundancies today, the PMS said that these were management decisions for the Lloyds Group and we were not going to comment in detail on a decision taken by them. As we had said in the past, we had a great deal of sympathy for people who had been affected by the recession and who, in cases such as this, had lost their jobs. We worked very hard to get back into work as quickly as possible.
