Business Council

Asked about today s meeting of the Business Council, and would they be discussing Heathrow, the PMS replied that the Business Council met on a regular basis and discussed a wide range of issues. The agenda was set by the Council, which was chaired by a person not from the Government, at the moment it was Steven Green of HSBC. People would not expect us to announce in advance what would be discussed, but it did tend to discuss global issues and their impact on the UK.
