Asked whether the Prime Minister agreed with the Home Affairs Select Committee that promotions on alcohol should be banned, the PMS said this was another interesting contribution to an important debate. There was a Department of Health independent review on the effects of alcohol price, promotion, consumption and the harm that is done by excessive alcohol consumption and that would be published fairly shortly.
