« Police Inquiry | Back to most recent briefing | Government Reshuffle »
Asked for a reaction to the deaths of three soldiers in Iraq, the PMS said that whenever any British soldier died, it was a matter of deep regret.
Put that at least one of the soldiers who had been killed recently was from the Prime Minister’s constituency, and did he have a reaction, the PMS replied that he was not in a position to confirm names or other information at that point.
Asked when the Prime Minister had been informed. The PMS said first thing this morning.
