George Galloway

Asked if the row between George Galloway and the Senate committee might damage the special relationship, the PMOS said that there were some issues which one learned to stay out of. This was top of that list.

  1. This special relationship, is this the one where the president says: "stick your head up my ass, boy" and the prime minister says "yeah, right, how far? and any chance you could slip my wife sharon a few thousand bucks? or a free dress or something? a holiday maybe ? a few lines of that presidential coke?"

We wouldn’t want Mr Galloway damaging that one now, would we?

  3. No, Sharon as in communus, vulgaris slapperus or as in Her Honour Sharon Blair QC, supermother, psychic healer, dentisty icon, popular Liverpudlian entertainer and all-round shameless greedybastard; that Sharon.
