Firefighter Deaths

Asked the Prime Minister’s reaction to the deaths this morning of two firefighters in London, the PMOS said that the Prime Minister sent his sympathies to the families of the victims. He recognised the debt that we all owed to firefighters and the real risks they ran to protect people at home and at work.

  1. Could you please thank the PM for his comments regarding the death of our colleagues. Perhaps he will make a similar comment when we are back on strike again soon? Maybe he could even use his influence to help sort out our pay dispute before we need to strike. Unfortunately his performance during our last dispute means I have little faith in him.
