Put that Jim Murphy had said that he had squared away the problems of having a UK football team with the Scottish FA, and asked for the Prime Minister s thoughts on this, the PMS replied that he had not seen the comments, but the Prime Minister in the past had supported the idea of a UK football team, as long as there was proper consultation with the national football authorities.
