Asked if there was a date set for the oil summit in London, another member of the Lobby replied that it would be held on the 19th December.
Asked at what level the summit would be held, the PMS replied that it would be a meeting of Energy Ministers, as we made clear several weeks ago.
Asked if the Prime Minister would be chairing the meeting, the PMS replied that the anticipation was that the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change would chair the meeting.
Asked if we were expecting the Libyan Energy Minister to attend, the PMS replied that it was best to check with DECC on the precise cast list.
