Asked if the United Kingdom would ever go it alone and impose sanctions on Iran, perhaps with the US, if there could not be agreement between all five members of the Security Council, the PMS replied that the meeting this afternoon between the E3 (United Kingdom, Germany and France) plus US, China and Russia was to discuss next steps. We knew that what worked well was working together with our international partners.
