« PMOS | Back to most recent briefing | Prime Minister Erdogan’s visit »
Asked why the Prime Minister was meeting the CEO of Google this week, the PMOS replied that if he was, there was nothing unusual, as the Prime Minister met all sorts of people. However, if it was the case that there was a meeting, the Prime Minister had an interest in new technology, as was witnessed when we visited California recently.
Asked if it had anything to do with the Prime Minister not being able to send or handle his own emails, the PMOS replied that the issue of technology in general was much bigger than whether people could send an email. The discussions in California were genuinely fascinating. The PMOS said that people like Steve Jobs were fascinating people.
