Asked if the Prime Minister was being kept informed of the situation with Mr. Kember, the PMOS said he had to be very careful about what he said about Mr. Kember. It was better to leave it to the Foreign Office (FCO), and people knew the reasons why we had to be very careful and why it should be left to the FCO to comment.

Comment by PapaLazzzaru — 1 Dec 2005 on 1:43 pm | Linkas much as i hate to say it, we , may have to do an exchange of prisoners on this one, he should nt have been there, to old, time is running out, offer the arab who is in belmarsh for Mr Kember, but, if as promised and he is murdered, then the gloves should be off against the militants, i’ll pray for him.
Comment by rab — 7 Dec 2005 on 10:35 pm | LinkThat’s a really good idea. What with George Bush and the fat yanks praying to their gods and the mad headtakers praying to theirs and the impudent lunatic missionaries on all sides hurling themselves into the lions den praying to be killed what the world really needs is somebody like you, Rab, doing some more praying. Amen.
I think Tasty MacFadden said that.
