Free Schools
Asked whether the Government had a policy of pushing funds towards Free Schools and away from non-Free Schools, the PMS said that we had a policy of diversity in the school system and an objective of raising standards. Free Schools had a part to play in that.

International Development
Asked where the 500m came from for the Department of International Development commitment on family planning, the PMS said that it was from within the DFID budget. Asked what the PM’s discussions with the President of Rwanda were about, the PMS said it was a brief bilateral which focused on development issues.
