Asked if the Prime Minister would agree with the Defence Secretary who had reportedly said that he would not have supported the Iraq War if he had known that there were no WMDs in Iraq, the PMS said that the Prime Minister had always been very clear on the Iraq situation; he welcomed the fact that there was an inquiry, he welcomed the fact that it was independent but he would not comment on aspects of the inquiry or related matters.
