Biscuits

Asked why the Prime Minister crumbled over Biscuit-gate , the PMS said that the Prime Minister had received 800 postings during the course of his Mumsnet Q&A. He had had the opportunity to respond only to thirty questions, so the question on his favourite choice of biscuit had not been dodged.

The Prime Minister had subsequently been clear and gone on the record on Twitter, saying that the answer was anything with a bit of chocolate on it.

Put that there had been a suggestion that the reason for the delay was that the Prime Minister had consulted a Labour focus group, the PMS said that he could reassure people that that was not the case.
