Asked to comment on the suggestion that Shriti Vadera is about to leave the Government, the PMS said as the lobby knew, Downing Street would not comment on speculation around Ministerial roles. If there would be anything to tell the lobby, Downing Street would do so in the normal way.
Asked if she anticipated an announcement today, the PMS said she would not able to help the lobby on timings.
Asked if Shriti Vadera was still a member of the Government as we speak , the PMS said yes .
Asked if Shriti Vadera would be a member of the Government tonight, the PMS repeated that she would not comment on speculation around Ministerial roles.
Asked if Shriti Vadera had discussed leaving the government with the Prime Minister, the PMS said she could not help any further on that line of questioning.
