Asked if the Prime Minister was happy with Andy Burnham s announcements today on the NHS in terms of the implications for public spending, the PMS said that the initiative Andy Burnham had been talking about today was very important and had been broadly welcomed by the British Medical Association. This was a significant step forward in building on the existing health service.
