The Prime Minister’s Spokesman (PMS) started by saying that the families affected by the 9/11 attacks were holding a private memorial event in central London to mark the 8th anniversary.
Asked if there would be British Government representation at the memorial, the PMS said that a senior government official, who had long been responsible for liaising with the relevant families, would be representing the Government.
