Asked if the Prime Minister was able to give any support to the mother of murdered Police Constable Yvonne Fletcher in her efforts to get information from Libya about her daughter s death and whether the Prime Minister had raised this with the Libyans at any stage, the PMS said that there were ongoing discussions involving the Foreign Office. The Prime Minister raised the issue with Colonel Gadaffi at the G8.
Asked if the Prime Minister had any response to pictures of Megrahi in the press yesterday, the PMS said that the Prime Minister had made clear in his letter to Colonel Gadaffi that he expected Megrahi to be treated sensitively when he retuned.
Asked if the Prime Minister and President Obama would discuss Libya, the PMS said that it was not on the agenda.
