Summer Recess

Asked about which Ministers would be on duty over the summer, the PMS said that the Prime Minister was in overall charge and a number of senior Cabinet Ministers would take on more responsibilities for some of the day-to-day issues.

Asked if the Prime Minister had a message for MPs ahead of the summer recess, the PMS said that the main purpose of the Parliamentary recess was to ensure that MPs spent time in their constituencies; that was what the Prime Minister would expect the MPs in his party to do.
