Cabinet
« Nuclear Non-Proliferation | Back to most recent briefing | Parliamentary Standards Authority »
The Prime Minister s Spokesman (PMS) began by giving a run-down of Cabinet; there was an update on the situation in Afghanistan from the Defence Secretary and the Foreign Secretary, there was a presentation on the Climate Change White Paper by Ed Miliband, which was being published tomorrow, there was a discussion led by Andy Burnham on the Social Care Green Paper, there was a discussion led by Lord Drayson on the Government s Life Sciences Strategy.
Asked if there had been any discussions on Swine Flu and would there be any COBRA meetings on the subject. The PMS said that people should check with the Department of Health. COBRA certainly had been meeting regularly and he would be surprised if that was not still the case. There was no substantive discussion on the subject in Cabinet.
