Asked about the Prime Minister s meeting with the US Treasury Secretary, the PMS said that they would discuss issues relating to the global economy and global financial matters. It was an important meeting as we chaired the last meeting of the G20 and the US would be chairing the next G20 meeting in Pittsburgh in September. This was an important opportunity for the Chancellor and Secretary Geithner to discuss how we were taking forward the G20 agenda after the London meeting and ahead of the Pittsburgh meeting.
