Asked why the Prime Minister had spoken to the judges from Britain s Got Talent regarding the contestant Susan Boyle, the PMS said that the Prime Minister personally knew some of the judges and that this was a programme that he had always taken an interest in because it showed that there was a huge amount on untapped potential in the country and he believed it was a good example of how we could help realise the different talents of individuals. The Prime Minister felt it was right to contact the judges he knew and enquire about the welfare of Susan Boyle.
Asked if the Prime Minister watched the Britain s Got Talent final on Saturday, the PMS said that he managed to watch some or all of it but didn t vote.
