Asked what the Prime Minister had said about the economy at Cabinet, the PMS said that it was a brief update for the Cabinet on a number of announcements that had been made since the last time they met.
Asked if Barclays was discussed, the PMS said that he would not get into the specifics of the discussion, but it was unusual for the Cabinet to discuss individual organisations.
