Contact Lenses
« Northern Ireland | Back to most recent briefing | Iraq »
Asked about the Prime Minister loosing his contact lens before a speech at the weekend, the PMS said that we did not comment on the Prime Minister s health but it was a matter of public record that he had issues with his eyesight for many years and he wore contact lenses. He usually carried a spare pair of lenses but on this particular occasion he didn t and he was very grateful that the people at the event were able to help him retrieve his contact lens so he could deliver his speech.
