Asked if about the Prime Minister s meeting with the Ugandan Prime Minister, the PMS said it was a very constructive meeting in which they discussed regional issues. The main focus of the discussion was on how best we could support developing countries through the global economic downturn and this was something the Prime Minister would talk about in his speech to the International Development Conference this afternoon.
Asked if the Ugandan Prime Minister had brought up any specific concerns during the meeting regarding the economic downturn, the PMS said that those concerns had already been expressed. The Prime Minister would be talking about addressing some of those concerns during his speech today.
