Local Council Pensions

Asked if the Prime Minister was concerned about the size of local council pensions, the PMS said that we had made reforms to public sector pensions a few years ago that were quite significant in terms of the total amount of savings made.

Why should anyone have a publicly funded pension when we are all suffering in these hard times?
