Misc

Asked if the Prime Minister had spoken to the Leader of the House of Lords about the corruption allegations involving two Labour Peers, the PMS said that this was a Labour Party matter and as such should be addressed to one of the PMS s political colleagues.

Asked about the Prime Minister s view on the report on Northern Ireland s legacy, the PMS said that the report had not yet been published but was due soon. We would have to consider the report and any recommendations made in the coming months.

Asked about reports that Cabinet had discussed limiting MPs from having other jobs, the PMS said that there was always going to be a debate about this, but it was really a matter for the House to find a collective view on.

Asked if the Prime Minister planned to meet other leaders at Davos, the PMS said the Prime Minister was planning on meeting a number of different people, depending on who was there. We expected, for example, to meet with the Japanese Prime Minister.
