Asked what would be discussed later when the Prime Minister met with the Ukrainian President, the PMS replied that no doubt they would be discussing NATO along with other regional issues in particular the situation in relation to Georgia. Of course they would want to discuss the global economic situation, which was obviously affecting Ukraine just as it was affecting every major country and major economy. The Prime Minister would no doubt also want to thank President Yushchenko for Ukraine s support in Afghanistan. Dear Sir,
I would like to ask if Holodomor -the Great Famine in Ukraine in 1932-33 was discussed with the President of Ukraine.
Secondly was the forthcoming 75 th commemoration of the Holodomor in Westminster Central Hall on 22 November discussed.
Thanks in advance
