Asked about the agenda for the Paris meeting tomorrow, the PMS said that they would be discussing the global economic situation, how each of our countries were dealing with it and what more we could do in order to help deal with it. Asked if the Prime Minister had tried to persuade Sir Ian Blair to stay, the PMS said that he was not going to get into private discussions that the Prime Minister may or may not have had.
