Asked if the Prime Minister was still on holiday, the Prime Minister’s Spokesman (PMS) told the assembled press that he was.
Asked if the Government was saying anything on the Thai Prime Minister seeking asylum in the UK, the PMS replied that he did not think we would comment on an individual case.
Asked which Minister would be coordinating Government business this week, the PMS said that it would be Alastair Darling.
Asked if there were further details of Cabinet being held in the West Midlands, the PMS said there were no further details at this stage.
Asked to comment on the Prime Minister’s new book, the PMS said he did not have any information on that.
Asked if there were any guidelines for senior civil servants on discussing policy issues on mobile phones, the PMS replied that he thought the general guideline would be to exercise discretion.
