Asked for more details of the IOC meeting tonight, the PMS replied that the IOC meeting was a cross party meeting in order to emphasise to the IOC the cross party nature of the support for the Olympics. It would include, as well as key members of the IOC, the Mayor of London, the Leader of the Opposition, Don Foster representing the Liberal Democrats, and Tessa Jowell.
