Asked what the latest position was with regard to flags been flown above Government buildings with it being St George’s Day tomorrow, the PMS replied that a consultation was undertaken by Jack Straw and his department, so that was the best place to look for the latest position. Asked if the Prime Minister was planning to hoist the flag of St George above Downing Street tomorrow, the PMS replied that he would double check on that point.
