Cabinet

The Prime Minister’s Spokesman (PMS) began by informing journalists that Cabinet had met for approximately one hour this morning and had been dominated by home affairs. They discussed drugs policy in advance of the Drug Strategy publication tomorrow and there was a follow-up discussion on neighbourhood policing following on from the campaign launched yesterday by the Prime Minister and Jacqui Smith.
