Put that the Prime Minister was asked yesterday whether he could give an assurance that the loan and the interest on the loan would be repaid by 2010, and asked if we expected the loan and the interest to be paid by the buyer of Northern Rock, the PMS replied that we had nothing to add to the Prime Minister’s words yesterday. For detail check with the Treasury.
Put that the Prime Minister did not answer the question yesterday, the PMS replied that the Prime Minister said all he had to say on the subject of Northern Rock yesterday.
