Asked if the Prime Minister was alarmed at the treatment of Benazir Bhutto, the PMS said that the Government was very concerned with the developments in Pakistan this morning, which underlined the need for a rapid return to Constitutional rule.
Asked if there was a case to reconsider the aid given to Pakistan given the recent developments, the PMS said that the Government continued to consider the implications for all of its programmes in Pakistan.
