Asked if the Prime Minister retained full confidence in Douglas Alexander as the UK General Election coordinator, following a report published today about the Scottish elections, which criticised Mr Alexander, the PMS said that the Prime Minister retained full confidence in all of his cabinet team. The Defence Secretary and Secretary of State for Scotland Des Browne would be responding to the report in the House of Commons and the PMS asked that people look at his responses to such questions.
