Asked if there had been any fresh contact with any members of the McCann family, the PMS said it would not be appropriate to comment on a matter that was subject to an ongoing police investigation. Asked about the Gambling Commission’s report the following day and whether people should expect the Prime Minister to give his results on his review into super casinos soon, the PMS said the Prime Minister’s views on super casino’s were well known but said the Government would wait until the findings of the report were known before responding to it.
