The Prime Minister’s Spokesman (PMS) stated that the main items discussed were as follows; there was an update from the Chancellor on the situation regarding Northern Rock; an update from Hilary Benn regarding Foot and Mouth and an update from Des Browne on the situation in Iraq and a presentation from Lord Darzi on the reform of the National Health Service
