Scotland Match
Asked if the Prime Minister watched the Scotland game last night, the Prime Minister’s Spokesman (PMS) replied that the Prime Minister spent most of yesterday evening working on issues related to the outbreak of Foot & Mouth Disease. Foot and Mouth outbreak
Asked if there would be an investigation into why the all clear was given, the PMS replied that as the Chief Vet had made clear, the decision on the all clear was taken on the basis of her scientific judgement. Asked for any comment on the Taoiseach defending his position on "cash for favours", the PMS replied that we did not have any comment to make on this. Asked for a comment on the appointment of a new Prime Minister in Russia, the PMS replied that we had no comment to make on this.
