<description>I am outraged that Westminster MP's, supposedly the custodians of democracy, have voted to exempt themselves from the Freedom of Information Law. The BBC TV scan of the near empty Parliament when the Conservative David Mclean MP's Private Members Bill was discussed said everything to me.
This was a conspiracy of like-minded MP's of all political parties and to hell with the voting public.
I can only imagine the glee and backslapping that went on in the Government's Labour Party when this was going on. What was Cameron thinking about to allow this? Has he got things he wants to hide as well as Blair/Brown?
Comment was apparently made by the Leader of the House that &#34;it was an issue for Parliament to discuss&#34;. Where was Parliament? Had MP's of all colours possibly scuttled home for another early weekend ,after a debilitating three and a half days work in order to be seen as not to have voted for this? Where and when was the discussion?
