Asked about the visit of the Sudanese Vice President, the PMOS said that anybody who had read the recent statements by the Prime Minister would know where he was coming from. The Prime Minister believed that all sides should stop fighting and all sides should engage with the UN and the Sudanese Government in particular should allow the UN to take over the operations of the African Union forces. This was the way forward. Briefing took place at 16:00 | Search for related news Original PMOS briefings are © Crown Copyright.
