If there was any such thing as democracy in this country our Prime Minister would be insisting loudly and publicly that Israel must cease and desist. Never mind all the bullshit about how International diplomacy does not happen in public like that; it fucking well should. If it DID, Israel would know beyond all doubt that the rest of the world thinks they are a bunch of murdering Zionist bastards, and they wouldn't try to spin silence into support as they have done. The reason it doesn't take place in public, is because it just isn't happening. If it was, there'd have been an end to the killing; it really is that simple - give the order to stop pulling the trigger, and work out the details afterwards. This is a bona fide invasion by Israel, supported by the rest of NATO/the West, and anything else is a smokescreen. Another point to note is that it's not even about Lebanon, which is why the shooting is still going on - it's about dragging Syria and Iran into the conflict. If there was a ceasefire now, the New World Order lunatics would have no opportunity to escalate the conflict. Don't fall for it people, it's all a con-job. If this was genuine, we and the USA would not be shipping boatloads of munitions to Israel to carry on the murder, we'd be threatening them with sanctions and even military action (remember Iraq invading Kuwait?!) if it did not stop. This is imperialism, pure and simple, and unless people open their eyes to that fact and to the other unpalatable lies which are being told at the highest levels, it's only going to get worse. There is only 1 possible solution to this problem, and to all the other problems of a similar nature in the world today - education.
