Every day the Prime Minister's Spokesman meets a small coterie of political journalists known as 'the lobby' for a topical chat, or 'briefing'.

I'd like to see Bush and Blair take on all the various other countries who have, or are attempting to acquire or make nukes. There's a fair chance that we'd be fighting on about a dozen different fronts then.

On the other hand, North Korea does not seem to export much oil does it? So perhaps this is all about securing energy supplies, eh?

Not that it's a bad thing to want to do, but could we be a little more up front with our positions? Or is Al Quaida linked to Iran as well? Maybe the Iranians masterminded 9/11. How stupid does Blair and his acolytes think we all are?

This is deep and unremitting bullshit from Her Majesty's Government.

Why do Bush and Blair think that Iran is going to take a blind bit of notice?

Iran is a separate Nation and as such has as much right as anyone else to develop whatever nuclear fuels / weapons that it chooses.

Posturing around and pretending that they have some God given right to tell others what to do just re-enforces the image of a stupid president and his lap dog.

If the pair of them want to start a real and meaningful discussion then destroying the Israeli Reactors and nuclear weapons would be a good starting point. Then discussions can be conducted on a level, mid eastern, playing field.

Whilst Israel has 'illegal' [UN resolutions] nuclear capabilities Iran needs to continue its own developments towards a level playing field.

Getting Israel to comply with any UN resolution would help

<a href="http://www.middleeastnews.com/unresolutionslist.html">http://www.middleeastnews.com/unresolutionslist.html</a>

Whatever happened to the American concept of negotiating for a "win, win" result?
